Grandpa Willy

Ever since you were little I always talked about my father and your grandpa Willy. How he was living his dream job as being a sales man and traveling all the time. All he wanted to do was to be rich and support his family. Always was supporting me in becoming a great football, coming to my games, playing catch, and always talking about me becoming a sales man.

Having the dream of becoming rich and supporting your family is not bad, but do not let it control your life. Grandpa Willy dreams of becoming rich took over his life to the point that he was never home, Grandma Linda was lonely but always happy when he was home.  It also took a toll on his body, in which he got so worn down that he started to go crazy.

He is a great man to look up to, he taught me how to be supportive, but sometimes he was overly supportive. Yes I am happy that he supported me in football but not in school. He also pushed me into being a sales man, which I did not want to be. I really wanted to become a football player but I did not have the grades to.

I just want to let you know that you can become rich and do what you want to do. Do not let anyone push you into any different direction then what you want to do. I will try my hardest to support you in any way I possibly can.

  3. The concept of being "overly supportive" is an interesting one.
